How to read ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini answers as a clean page
Quick answer
Copy the answer, make a new document in MD Editor and paste it there. On Windows, press Ctrl+3 for the Preview; on Android, the document is already a page in Write. Headings, lists, tables and code show as a clean page, and you can keep the answer as a .md file.

Get MD Editor

Copy the answer
Use the copy button under the answer. If what you paste has no Markdown marks, such as # before headings or - before list items, ask the AI to put its answer in a Markdown code block, then use that block's copy button.

Paste it into a new document
On Windows, press Ctrl+N for a new document and paste with Ctrl+V. On Android, tap New Document, choose where to save the file, and paste the answer.

Read it as a page
On Windows, Ctrl+3 shows the Preview, and Ctrl+2 the Split view, with the Markdown and the page side by side. To keep the answer, choose Save As… in the File menu. On Android, the answer shows as a page in Write and is saved to the file as you type.
What shows as a page
MD Editor's preview reads GitHub Flavored Markdown, plus a few extras:
- Headings, bold, italics and strikethrough.
- Lists and task lists.
- Tables.
- Code, in a box of its own.
- Quotes, links and pictures.
- Footnotes, definition lists, highlights, and superscript and subscript.
Questions
Why does my pasted answer look like plain text?
The copy button may have copied the answer without its Markdown marks. Ask the AI to put the answer in a Markdown code block, copy the block with its own copy button, and paste again.
Does MD Editor show math and diagrams?
No. The preview has no math and no diagrams (Mermaid), and it does not colour code. Formulas and diagrams show as the text the AI wrote.
Is MD Editor made by OpenAI, Anthropic or Google?
