Which Markdown does MD Editor read?

GitHub Flavored Markdown: headings, lists, task lists, tables, strikethrough, quotes, code, links and pictures. MD Editor also reads footnotes, definition lists, highlights (==text==), superscript (x^2^) and subscript (H~2~O).

Can I use HTML in Markdown?

Yes. MD Editor's preview shows HTML written in a Markdown file, such as <br> for a line break or <details> for a section that opens and closes. For safety, it leaves out scripts, styles and embedded pages.

Does MD Editor show math?

No. The preview does not draw math (LaTeX) or diagrams (Mermaid), and it does not colour code. They appear as you typed them, as text or in a code block.
